The project was commissioned by Kent County Council as part of an improvement to the library. The space had become quite dark, and everyone was keen to create a brighter, more engaging environment for the local community.
The original light fittings were ceiling suspended and through conducting a survey of the existing lighting we concluded that the older ceiling was not the best option, so a brand-new design was created to accommodate this and to really open the space using the new light fittings. All the suppliers and contractors were procured via our LED Lighting Framework.
