We are starting 2023 off on the front foot with the introduction of our latest flexible Gas & Electricity frameworks: Y22009 & Y22008.
These new frameworks are an evolution of previous offerings, giving you greater opportunities to drive efficiency on your gas & electricity procurement.
Taking learnings from our customers to ensure these frameworks offer the right solutions to meet the ever-changing needs of a wide range of public sector organisations, we are excited to start the roll out of these frameworks to both new and existing customers as our current flexi frameworks reach the end of their 4-year lifecycle.
These frameworks have been procured and built to the highest standards and in accordance with the Public Contracts Regulations of 2015.
As always, Kent County Council remain the contracting authority for all LASER’s contracts – this in turn allows any public body to access the frameworks and services without the need to run a separate procurement process.
This helps your organisation save time and money in what is a very turbulent and challenging energy market.
The flexi frameworks for both Gas & Electricity provide a robust structure to procuring these core utilities across a wide range of requirements. For electricity, we can procure Half Hourly, Non-Half Hourly Metered and Unmetered supplies and Daily Metered and Non-Daily Metered supplies for Gas.
This approach allows a truly flexible procurement strategy for your organisation to use and ensures the best possible approach when looking at your wider Gas & Electricity procurement.
The introduction of these new frameworks has been a long process of hard, meticulous work and one that our team are incredibly proud to have in place. Matt Hull our Frameworks Manager notes:
The introduction of these new Flexible procurement frameworks is a showcase of our continued efforts to provide a first-class service to the public sector. We want to continue to be able to offer services that drive efficiency and savings for our customers, whilst demonstrating our forward thinking and innovative approach to utilities procurement and broader energy management.
The full scope of these frameworks allows multiple approaches to picking a supplier.
From direct award, incumbent supplier or winning an evaluation process – we are able to tailor the approach to best suit the needs of your organisation. In addition, we can run mini tenders under the framework should your organisation have specific requirements that fall outside of the specifications covered. This tender process can be supported by our internal team all the way from scope to delivery.
