In order to comply with the MEES legislation, property owners and landlords are required to assess their property’s energy performance and take necessary steps to improve its energy efficiency if it does not meet the MEES standards. This typically involves obtaining an Energy Performance Certificate (EPC), which rates the property’s energy efficiency on a scale of A to G. LASER can assist you in identifying, evaluating, and ensuring compliance for any properties that do not meet the MEES standards.
We understand that service requirements may vary and we are pleased to offer tailored services to suit the individual needs and preferences of our customers.
Portfolio gap analysis
We will work with you to identify which properties the regulations will affect, where existing EPCs are in place and ensure the most recent certificates are considered. Properties that may require improvements or EPCs will then be highlighted.
Closing the gap
For those highlighted properties, we can provide EPCs and produce a summary report with an overview of the current position of the property in relation to the legislation. This provides a notice period for the work that is required.
